Privacy policy

Who is responsible

whatishormonalacne.com is run as an independent website, and the site itself is responsible for the data on this page. Questions about your data go to privacy@whatishormonalacne.com.

What we collect

How the statistics travel

Your browser sends visit statistics to /api/glow, an endpoint on this site. That endpoint passes them to an analytics provider (EU), which keeps them on servers in the European Union. Your IP address goes along so a rough country can be worked out. A random code in session storage links the pages of a single visit and is wiped when you close the tab, so two visits can't be tied together. No statistics cookies are used. If you are in the EU, nothing is counted until you press "Allow".

The skin analysis link

Buttons such as "Start my analysis" pass through whatishormonalacne.com/hormone-scan and then open acne.today, a separate paid service. The link tells acne.today which page and which button you used, and the life stage you picked if you picked one. Photos, answers and payments you give acne.today fall under its own privacy policy.
